It's ad-free and far better than anything.

Comment on Alternatives to Internet Explorer

Comment by jebadaja ( http://moneymaker20zzz21.net )

I also use it when I want to log into multiple accounts on the same site. With Opera and Firefox, you have to logout to use another account. Being so small, Off By One can run simultaneously with another browser and let you login to a second account. Opera, Firefox and IEEEEE! hoard so much RAM that running two of them at once is impossible.

Comment on Alternatives to Internet Explorer

Comment by Bob Dog ( )

One more worth looking at is the Off By One browser.

http://www.offbyone.com/

It has few plugins and no Java, but for viewing standard HTML pages and images with CSS and SSI and using tabs, it's good and reliable. It's not an everyday browser, but it's an excellent second or third browser.

It's also small enough to fit on a floppy disk (less than 1MB) and requires no install program. I use it mostly when using computers away from home where my choices of browser aren't available (ie., only IE on their computer).

I also use it when I want to log into multiple accounts on the same site.
