Greasemonkey is a truly impressive addition to Firefox and will be IS a nice addition to Opera 8. In simple terms, it allows you to write custom JavaScripts to run on any sites you like (or even all sites). There is a fairly healthy group of scripts already available, and many more surely on the way.
- Auto-Save Forms
This script saves all text in forms to a cookie for you as you type. If you any reason you lose the data in the form (eg your PC crashes, your session expires, etc), you can click the "Repopulate Form" button and your text will be restored.

My client would like to be able to see and print form inquiries like the HTML form the visitor used. In other words have the existing form(s) populated with the XML data the user submitted or have the user submissions email the HTML form with fields autopopulated with the XML data. Would this script help accomplish that? I've been searching awhile and this seems to be close but I'm a novice coder and not sure what to do with your script.
Any help would be tremendously appreciated.
Thanks,
mark

The repopulate form button appears in the top right of the page you are currently browsing. You may need to scroll up to see it.

I tried a few text saver programs and none of them worked. I finally tried this and it worked which makes me happy.
I have a site like http://rasseru.110mb.com/RIKAI.htm where I enter text in (lots of time for studying vocabulary of other languages that I have come across online) and when I open firefox3.5, it's really weird, it only saves the last box. In Firefox3, it saves only the first box which is better but still sucks.
Now I have a program that saves all my information. Awesome
Only complaint I have is once I repopulate my text, the button still stays there which is slightly annoying but not a big problem. Maybe if there was an X to close it or something
